Messy Streak Continues

Yesterday someone emailed me wondering why it seemed as though every weekend recently has been crummy. The reason it has seemed that way is because we have definitely had some wintry weather the past five weekends. Looking back to December 1st, (when the meteorological winter begins) we have had some form of precipitation each and every weekend since. Temperatures have been all over the map, but the constant has been the wintry mix. Starting with the big ice storm at the beginning of the month we saw freezing rain, sleet, snow, and plain old rain during December.

Whether you like it or not, the streak of messy weather will continue into the first weekend of January. We won't see a lot of precipitation this weekend, but it will certainly come down in the liquid form. Temperatures should make it into the 40s this weekend with a bit of drizzle and light rain from time to time. Finally, to the realtor that posed the question: don't let the weather get you down... keep smiling! -ADAM
