As the cold front and low pressure system sweeps through the stateline...Northern Illinois will get a taste of a few snowflakes. But as Accu Weather shows.. the pressure will move on to Michigan as well as the cold front dumping between a half of foot and a foot of snow over Northern Michigan... portions of Ontario and Ohio.After the storm passes through... the Arctic Blast begins. Wednesday expect snow in the afternoon hours into the night. The blast of air will come in from the Rockies plunging temperatures for Northern Illinois into the teens. As it moves east... it will lose momentum warming up the Stateline slightly by Sunday.
