Move over April Fool's Day, a legendary rock band is taking your place. Last fall, Senator Dave Syverson sponsored the bill and it passed quite easily. He wanted to give the band "Cheap Trick" its own day, and for all of the shenanigans that they get away with only one day seemed appropriate for them: April Fool's Day. That means today is the inaugural Cheap Trick Day. I was live this morning at the Stockholm Inn during 13News Today and had the opportunity to interview both Rick Nielson and Bun E. Carlos. They were both incredibly fun to meet, and I even got to wear Rick's shoes... red and purple checkered slip-ons!
