It is hard to get into the thought process of applying sunscreen when our temperatures are only climbing into the low 50s. The sun's rays can burn your skin regardless of where the mercury sits. The graphic to the left is the UV Index for today. As you can see, skin damage can occur in under 45 minutes on a cool but sunny early April day. The sun angle is getting higher and higher, which means it is getting stronger and stronger. I have proof of this happening, since I talked to a friend recently with extremely sensitive skin that sustained a bit of a burn in less than a half hour. Just a little something to keep in mind as you enjoy today's rays! -ADAM

Sunscreen? Already?
