I was going to make a post about Tropical Storm Arthur, but some pictures from near Guttenburg, Iowa (north of Dubuque along the Mississippi) from just a short time ago. A viewer from KCRG-TV sent these to the meteorologist there.

They look like kind of like a tornado, but there was no damage reported. I think it's a small downburst coming down out of the storm... and part of it condensed into a cloud on the way down. Notice the fibrous appearance.
