Backup Plan for Father's Day

This weekend is a time to give back to the Dad's across the Stateline. If you have some Father's Day festivities that must be held outside, you may want to bump them up to Saturday as that should be the better of the two days.

The cold front that is set to sweep through the area Sunday is looking stronger than previously expected and the models are latching onto developing several thunderstorms across the region. The Storm Prediction Center has even taken the liberty of putting us in a slight risk. They have stated there is a 15% chance of severe weather within 25 miles of a given point. Plot that over the course of the entire viewing area and the odds are favorable for a rough end to the weekend. There is an outside chance of running into a few storms during the morning hours, but it appears more likely that this activity will get going during the afternoon. Highs should climb into the low 80s with dew points sitting in the 60s.

From me to you, an early Happy Father's Day! -ADAM
