With a cold front approaching from the west, we'd normally be thinking there would be a pretty decent chance of rain through tomorrow. However, the Gulf of Mexico is all locked up by Tropical Storm Fay. Its counterclockwise winds are preventing moisture from streaming northward into the Midwest. Since Fay is located over northern Florida, the winds over the Gulf coast are generally out of the north, which is the opposite direction we'd need.
Hopefully the isolated raindrops fall on your lawn, garden, or field if you haven't gotten any yet.
