Same Dance, Different Day

We are doing the same dance that we did yesterday. Sunrise is just after 6am and sunset is just before 8pm. 13 out of our 14 hours of daylight will likely be dry (93% of the day). This morning should stay quiet, but by this afternoon our rain chances become elevated. Once we add some heat to the atmosphere, a shortwave diving out of Canada should provide just enough instability in the atmosphere to spark a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm. ExacTrack is pumping out less than a tenth of an inch of rainfall for today. Once the sun sets tonight, all of the energy in the atmosphere will be lost and our skies should go tranquil.

In case you were searching for a weekend update. All of our models are stalling the cutoff low even more. We already had inserted dry skies for Friday and Saturday. This morning I took the liberty of making Sunday dry as well, which means the weekend is actually looking exquisite. This storm system appears to start impacting us during the beginning of the next work week. -ADAM
