Rain continues to fall over much of the viewing area. With saturated ground, flash flooding is likely or is occurring again. NEVER CROSS A FLOODED ROADWAY!!! FIND ANOTHER ROUTE!!!
Rain will taper off from west to east through the afternoon. The back edge of the rain at 11am is located along a line from Madison to Freeport to Fulton.
Minor flooding is expected on the Kishwaukee River at Belvidere and Perryville. Minor flooding is occurring now on the Kishwaukee in DeKalb. It will crest at the border between minor and moderate flooding. Emergency management reports that the Evergreen Mobile Home Park in Sycamore is experiencing extensive flooding.
