Alabama Storm Damage

A line of severe thunderstorms turned parts of Montgomery, Alabama upside down. All that's left of a Fun Zone Skate Center is a pile of twisted metal. 31 preschoolers and four adults took shelter in the only part of the building that turned out to be safe. One child suffered a broken bone while another had a cut to the head. Luckily everyone else emerged unharmed. (Image courtesy of WSFA-TV)

The National Weather Service has yet to determine if the damage was caused by a tornado. Click here to read the latest severe weather statement.

Also hit was the town of Troy in Pike County where the town water tower was destroyed along with several mobile homes. A Fire Department also collapsed.
