This time of year when our temperatures turn warm, usually some thunder isn't too far behind. After an incredibly warm Tuesday, we should have ample moisture to fuel a few thunderstorms on Wednesday. The main area with the threat for some rumbling will lie just to the south of our viewing area with McHenry and DeKalb counties lying the closest. The area with the best chance for thunderstorms will stretch from St. Louis, Missouri to Cleveland, Ohio.
Should the cold front slow down at all our chances for some severe weather may rise and the area shaded in yellow to the left may be shifted to the north. -ADAM

No, it shouldn't be anything too bad at all. The severe weather threat should be well to the south of us. Our rain should be just some light showers and likely won't start until late this afternoon. Get at that yard work right now, while temperatures are still mild!
