While entertaining some old friends from Texas in Chicago on Thursday, we noticed a marching band playing outside of NBC5's plaza studio on Michigan Avenue. We crossed the street to see what the commotion was about and low-and-behold it was our very own Winnebago Indians band! They were appearing via satellite with Ellen DeGeneres on her show...and also made it on the Chicago's Channel 5 News. What a neat thing to be a part of! Congratulations to the Winnebago Indians!

That's cool! I wish I would have known, I'd of payed attention to the show on Friday while I was getting ready for the news.
We air it right before our 5pm news. (We = WKOW, WREX's sister station in Madison, WI in case anyone is wondering.)
