Late in the work week, we will be in the "zone". No, not the state of mental or physical being where one produces at a high level for an extended period of time. We will be in a zonal flow.A zonal flow is when the jet stream flattens out into a west-east orientation. The cold, Canadian air will be locked to the north of us. The warm, sultry air will be locked to the south of us. Being stuck in the middle our temperatures will be average or what is fairly typical by late April standards. We won't see the high temperature extremes such as the 38 degrees on April 12th or the 84 degrees on April 22nd. Highs for Thursday and Friday will hang out in the 50s and 60s. -ADAM
