The Snow is Not Over With

The recent unseasonably cold temperatures are a rare thing for April, but unfortunately the snow is not. The graphic on the left shows that the average April snow accumulation is 1.4 inches. With the chance for some snow showers Tuesday and Wednesday, there is a possibility that we could have some accumulation. The cold temperatures just do not want to leave, and there is a possibility that they won't leave until the end of April. With that thought in mind, we could very easily hit the average April snow fall. And as if that wasn't enough, just about the whole country is experiencing colder temperatures right now. It was warmer in Fairbanks, Alaska than it was in Texas. Yikes! -Amanda (13 News Weather Intern)
