Snow Ruler... Put it Away?

Radar scans are starting to quiet down. For the most part, the light snow showers and flurries from this morning have moved off to the east. The skies will dry out this afternoon. Friday will be a tranquil day, but the storm sliding to our south bears watching. At this point, the accumulating snowfall on Saturday will setup over eastern Kansas, northern Missouri, and central Illinois. We may pick up on a few light showers, but the snow ruler should not be needed like it was yesterday. Let's hope this is the last time we have to use the term "snowmaker" this year. -ADAM
