Weather, the way you want it!

For years, I've been trying to figure out what's important to you...weatherwise. It's a hard task, considering each of us is different. A jogger or truck driver might want to know more about the winds. A bricklayer might want to know about rain potential. School kids just want to know if recess will be outside. We're all different, but one thing that everyone says is "Get to what's important!" So, on the CW News@9 each night, we have something new for you. We call it "Weather In the Know, Everything you NEED to know." Our Meteorologists pick the top three weather stories of the day and then explain them in-depth. Sometimes it isn't important to show what the barometric pressure is, or what the temperature is in Green Bay, or what the wind is in Rochelle. However, if wind's our big story, we'll talk about. If the temperature in Green Bay is important, we'll talk about it. Most importantly, if it's important, we'll forecast it.

I invite you to watch the CW News@9 on Insight Cable and on WREX-DT and let me know what you think of this idea. If you say it works, we will keep it...and possibly expand on this idea. After all, we should give YOU the weather YOU want, right? Thanks in advance. -ERIC

I never think to watch the news at 9. Ill have to watch that sometime this week. Even though I haven't seen it, I don't see any reason to get rid of it, sounds like a good idea.

I drive a lot for my work so I like to see how the driving weather is going to be.

When it comes right down to it I don't know why I really care. I have to go anyway no matter what the weather is. I guess sometimes if I know its going to be real bad I might leave a little early.

On that Dec. 1 snowstorm I left 3.5 hours early because I knew it was going to be bad and slow. I did get where I was supposed to be on time, which is more than I can say for most of the other people who were supposed to be at the meeting!

I don't get cable. I just have rabbit ears. And I read somewhere that those won't work any more after 2009.

:(

I only have rabbit ears too! Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Well, as long as you watch at ten...you'll have to stay up late, but I will be equally thankful for your eyes on the tube. -ERIC
