What are your habits?

With the weather pattern being tranquil and boring, I am branching out on another topic.

There is some debate among the media industry as to how long a viewer watches local news in the morning. If you watch our morning show (13News Today) or the "Today" show before you start your day, how much time are you actually watching the program. You can count "watching" as time that you are getting ready in the morning with the television on in the background. Is it 5, 10, 20, or 60 minutes? Let me know!

If you don't watch, but get your forecast from some other source you can post that as well. -ADAM

I have it on for the entire 1.5 hour show (and I watch AgDay before that). I know it is time to leave for work when Matt, Meredith, Ann and Al come on.

Now please note: I have it on. I can't say I am always in the same room as the TV for that whole time, and in fact I can tell you for sure that I'm NOT in the room with the TV for that whole time. But I do have it ON, and have at least 1/2 an ear to it.

For what its worth.

I watch for about 45 minutes. From the time my alarm clock goes off to the time I leave.

About 30-45.. which is ususaly the time before I leave.. Usualy only on as background noise, but I watch when I can.

And I always make a note to catch the weather :)

Ill watch while I'm eating, make sure I see the weather and a few of the top stories, and I'll have it on while im getting ready. I'd have to say i watch about 20 minutes on average.

i don't even own a tv...but I check both the website & the blog, sometimes several times a day. I prefer to choose when I receive weather info, not wait until it's time. Plus there's things available on the net not covered on tv.
