We might be dodging a few more raindrops before this week is all said and done. Obviously this may need some tweaking as the storm approaches, but here is what I am thinking as of Wednesday morning.Right now a storm system is dropping south out of Canada. It is going to stall out across the Stateline due to a blocking area of high pressure over the deep south. This stalling effect will give us a chance of rain Thursday through Saturday. Thursday's rain storms look spotty and more of the hit and miss variety. The core of this rainmaker will glide over us on Friday, which will give us the highest likelihood of some wet weather. Shower activity is expected to linger across the Prairie State into Saturday, but by Saturday night we should be able to say "good riddance" to the soaking rains. -ADAM
