Rain Moving East

A band of rain moving out of eastern Iowa and into Illinois will continue to move east/southeast over the next couple of hours. Look for brief downpours and lightning with some of the storms. It looks like Rockford may be on the northern fringe of showers, while counties such as Stephenson, Carroll, Whitside, Ogle, and Lee counties may see some of the heavier rainfall.
