As of 6:10pm a tornado watch has been issued for Green, Rock, Jo Daviess, Stephenson, and Carroll counties until midnight tonight. This means that the potential is there for tornadic activity. There are no threatening thunderstorms at this moment, but the atmosphere to the north and west of us is very unstable. More updates as the night progresses... -ADAMUpdate as of 7:50pm...
A strong line of thunderstorms is moving southeast through Prairie Du Chien at this time. These storms are moving at approximately 25 miles per hour and should cross Highway 20 between Galena and Freeport by 9:30pm. This line of storms will mainly bring damaging winds and heavy rainfall.
