Trouble Brewing?

Trouble is certainly brewing over portions of Iowa, Minnesota, and central Wisconsin where numerous severe thunderstorm and tornado watches are in place. Central Wisconsin is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10pm this evening. This does not include any counties in our viewing area.

Our threat for severe weather stands at a slight risk due to the timing of these storms. By the time the thunderstorms reach us, we will have lost the effects of daytime heating. Hail and gusty winds cannot be ruled out for us, but for the most part we should be in for a good lightning show with some beneficial rainfall. The soggiest timeframe across the Stateline looks like it will be from midnight tonight until noon tomorrow. -ADAM
