Another snow storm will be whipping across the Midwest tonight, and it appears as though the bullseye will be on us once again. A SNOW ADVISORY will begin this afternoon at 3pm and continue until noon on Tuesday for the entire viewing area. The snow will be the heaviest during the overnight hours. For those sick of shoveling, take solace in the fact that this snow will be the light and fluffy variety. You might want to bump your alarm clock for Tuesday morning up by a couple of minutes, because you will need some leeway time in order to get to work on time. -ADAM

Any idea how much snow will accumulate Thurs. into Fri.?

The orientation/path of the Thursday night snow storm is not nearly as conducive to big snow totals. Instead of the area of low pressure sliding to our south, it will be moving from Minnesota to Wisconsin to Michigan. This typically gives us a much lighter amount. At this point, I would say about an inch or two.
Thank you Adam...I really appreciate it.
Is there any chance this storm for tonight into tomorrow could end up dumping more on us? Seeing that galena and them could get 6+ is there a chance we could end up in that range?
Looks like right now, the moderate band of snow has formed well south of us in the quad cities. I wonder how long it will be before it forms over us. I have a feeling it will be snowing at 10pm when I get off of work.
