This weekend's weather will be a beauty! Even though temperatures will be right around average (for this time of year) it'll be a great improvement from weekends of the past. Can you remember the last sunny, nice weekend? We couldn't so we decided to take a look back. The last sunny weekend was way back in January but there was no way to enjoy the sunshine because of frigid temperatures. On the 19th and 20th we enjoyed two back-to-back sunny days however the high temperature both days failed to reach 10 degrees!
What are you doing with you sun-filled weekend? Please comment and we'll share some of your activities on 13News Weekend!

that is amazing. i cant believe its been that long
Sun and above -0 temps??
We are going for a long walk with the hound dogs!! Nothing like keeping a beagle and basset locked up in a house for this long-LOL! My patience says they need to burn some energy.
That 41 looks mighty nice.. I'll try my best to enjoy it. The dog will definatley get a walk, and maybe I can even get a jog in!
Even today it felt great outside! A little sun goes a long way! =)
Are we living a dream, someone pinch me!!! 41 on your 7 day? Say it's not so?
Yea... I bet its just to boost ratings. *rolls eyes*
It sounds like we are all happy to have a break in the clouds for a bit. It makes me think of the people who suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) due to lack of sunlight. It's time to start recovering from the winter blues. So there is another round of snow in the looming forecast-- but we need to remember that it will end soon. On a positive note-- after experiencing all the snow and rain (aside from the flooding) we will be going into Spring without worrying of immediate drought conditions and brown grass.
I know it's still way below freezing, but the birds are starting to talk more in the mornings --I know this partly because our cat is starting to wake us up way too early!
I have to work this weekend and am trying to get over this cold or bronchitis or something that I have suddenly got.
Besides taking care of a sick child, I'm currently waiting on the drywallers to put the second coat on the walls. (Anyone want to trade?!?!?!LOL) Other than that.....I think I might push my recliner in the path of the sun beaming in and curl up and start a new book.
wow! im sittin here in the office with the curtains wide open for the beautiful sunshine.
BUT, it is getting very warm in this room! that sun is getting 'stronger' by the day, and i love it!
*cracks open a window*
My dogs got some major outdoor exercise today (me too, I guess). About time!
Changed the oil & washed my car. Poor thing was completely encased in crusty salt & other road yuk.
Sprinkled the ice pack on my sidewalks with peat moss (environmentally friendly - absorbs more heat from sun, encourages melting), ice melted nicely, at least enough to chip & shovel most of it away. Good to see the sidewalk again.
Did the grocery shopping.
Opened up the sun porch -- the sun is actually strong enough to warm up a good part of the house; nice not to hear the furnace running non-stop for a change.
Slept in (didn't have to get up early to shovel anything or leave the house at O'dark-thirty for a hair-raising commute). Aaahhhh....
Wasn't that fascinating? (*not*)
I wore SHORTS today!
Theresa Sanford is celebrating her birthday on Sunday during this beautiful weekend! Keep up the good work Justin!
