Rockford: 4.0 inches.
WREX TV: 4.5 inches
Loves Park, Winnebago County: 4. 0 inches
Mount Carroll in Carroll County: 6.0 inches Blowing snow...still snowing.
Beloit, WI in Rock County: 2.0 inches
DeKalb: 1.5 inches. 1 inch in the past 40 minutes.
Freeport: 2.5 inches
La Salle: 2.2 inches
A snow advisory remains in effect for Janesville...Beloit..and Lake Geneva until 2 am. Two to five inches are expected and should taper off near midnight.
And a Winter Weather Advisory remains until 1 AM for Rockford...OREGON...DIXON...DEKALB.
SNOW WILL RAPIDLY OVERSPREAD THE AREA EARLY THIS EVENING...WITH SNOW
POSSIBLY BECOMING HEAVY AT TIMES. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SOME THUNDER
SNOW...WITH VISIBILITIES LIKELY FALLING BELOW A HALF MILE DURING THE
PERIODS OF HEAVIEST SNOW. SNOWFALL RATES OF UP TO AN INCH PER HOUR
ARE POSSIBLE AT TIMES THIS EVENING...WITH TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE
TO THREE INCHES LIKELY BY MIDNIGHT.
THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL LIKELY OCCUR OVER NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS
BETWEEN 6 AND 9 PM...AND OVER NORTHEAST ILLINOIS INCLUDING THE
CHICAGO METROPOLITAN AREA BETWEEN 7 PM AND 10 PM. SNOW WILL END
LATE THIS EVENING OR SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE

What do you think tomorrow morning's commute will be like?
Nevermind, just saw the news. Luckily we're only going to get a quarter of an inch of ice at the most.
I see on the radar what looks like ice heading our way, do you know when the bad weather might start up here and how bad its gonna get, thanks!
I am preaty excited. I just noticed the NWS issued a winter storm watch. Looks like the snow Eric mentioned a couple of days ago might still be headed this way. They are saying there is a potential for 6+ inches. Obviously it is too early for definates, however, this little bit of information is music to my hears!
