Winter Weather Arrives for Superbowl Sunday

I bet you are glad the Superbowl isn't being held in Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin today because we are under Winter Weather Advisory until 1 am.

Expect to see snowfall amounts to total over 4 inches this evening. As we go into the overnight hours...the snow should taper off and transition into freezing rain. Less than a quarter of an inch of ice is expected to accumulate. Anything over that will make for dangerous road conditions.

Your morning commute could be a little slick tomorrow...so be careful. As temperatures warm up into the mid thirties...freezing rain will become rain for your afternoon commute home.
