A large chunk of the Stateline viewing area has been placed under a DENSE FOG ADVISORY. The counties included are highlighted with gray in the image to the left. This is going to make for a slightly slower morning commute. Visibilities in some spots may frequently drop below 1/4 mile. The graphic to the right is a look at the visibilities as of 5:45am. If you are headed out before sunrise this morning be sure to slow down, keep your low beams on, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. The fog should improve significantly by 7am and should be completely gone by 9am. Even though the Rockford Airport is reporting 0.5 mile visibility, it isn't the same across all of Winnebago County. During my drive in, Auburn Street between Meridian and Winnebago Road was near zero visibility in several spots. -ADAM
