Bringing a Tear to My Eye

This blog post brings a bit of a tear to my eye. This morning I issued the last Golfcast until next May. If you are trying to squeeze in one last round this season, the weekend is looking a little rough. Most courses are still going to be soaked tomorrow, but at least the skies will be dry. Temperatures are set to remain below average. It is going to be extremely difficult to hit a straight shot on Sunday. This won't be from a flawed technique you have, but as a quasi-arctic front slams into the Stateline northwesterly winds will get cranking. Sustained speeds will easily be in the 15-30 mph range with wind gusts in some spots as high as 40 mph. I am going to give it a whirl tomorrow at one of the Rockford Park District courses. Wish me luck! -ADAM

Something I haven't seen in a long while tonight... Lightning! about fifteen minutes ago, south of Rockford the skies lit up. No thunder though. Haven't seen it since yet.
