No Fuel for the Fire (snow)

The jet stream is set up in a northwesterly orientation. This will allow a couple quick moving clipper systems to pass through the region during the work week. These pieces of energy won't produce much snow though, because there isn't much fuel to work with. The Gulf of Mexico moisture is locked well to the south of us. Until this opens up again, you won't have to shovel much of the fluffy stuff.

The first ripple in the atmosphere works through the area late this afternoon and early this evening. This could kick up a few flurries, but accumulations appear minor. The second ripple upstream floats through during the second half of your Thursday and sticks around for the beginning of your Friday. This one won't produce much more than a brief dusting of snow as well. -ADAM
