A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for all locations through Friday afternoon. This warning is issued when the combination of very cold air and wind will create life threatning wind chill values of -35°F or colder for at least three hours.
These conditions will result in frostbite...and could lead to hypothermia or death...if proper precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, wear several layers of clothing and cover all exposed skin. Frostbite can occur in as little as ten minutes. If clothes become wet, they should immediately be changed for dry ones.
This is a dangerous weather pattern. In fact we may see the coldest temperatures ever recorded in parts of our area either tonight or Thursday night. There are numerous closings and cancellations because of the extreme cold. Please click on the link above for more information.

And believe me eric, I pumped gas at our gas station today and forgot to put my gloves on to pump the gas, and within maybe 5 seconds of pumping, my hands felt nearly numb.
