The weather center got another picture from yesterday's ice storm.
This pic comes from viewer Keith Peters in Rochelle, Illinois. No the bright light is not car headlights...but instead a train on one of the many tracks in Rochelle. If you look at the trees....power lines are tangled up in the branches.
Due to the increase in wind speed and the freezing rain...many tree branches bent over brushing power lines resulting in outtages throughout the stateline area.
So far for next week...we should be able to avoid another ice storm... but snow flurries are likely on Tuesday and Wednesday. But sunshine will return for the remainder of the workweek.
