The Aftermath
After so much snow, sleet, and freezing rain on Saturday it was good to see our temperatures rise into the upper 30s early on Sunday. Although by 5pm the air temperatures dropped below the freezing mark once again. After having almost 20 hours of melting ice, the water on the ground started refreezing. This is going to continue to create some slick spots, because this cold air is going to stick around for the majority of the work week. Main arteries such as I-90, I-39, Hwy. 20, State Street and Perryville will be fine. It is the side streets and sidewalks that will be the problem in the near future. Be careful if you are out and about. -ADAM
