More Snow and Ice to Come
Let's track the storm system with AccuWeather that is expected to impact Northern Illinois this weekend.
Unlike last weekend where the bulk of the snow and ice hit us on Saturday...this time the wicked weather will not impact us until Sunday.
And just because most of the storm will leave us by Monday morning...does not mean that another system will start to move to the stateline for Tuesday and into Wednesday.
The first low pressure with snow moves into the parts of Colorado and nothern New Mexico. By Sunday the ice moves to the east heading into southern Minnesota and Missouri as well as a few snowflakes.
Driving in your car and flying could be hazardous tomorrow so please be careful on the roads..and expect delayed flights. The snow will not be as treacherous...but the impact will be frustrating to say the least.
