Recipe for Fog
We've got some patchy fog across the Stateline this morning with visibilities between 2 and 3 miles. The ingredients for fog actually came together yesterday. With the widespread sunshine, some of the ice and snow started to melt. That moisture then evaporated into the atmosphere. With very little wind during the overnight hours to carry the moisture away it has hung around and formed a cloud base very close to the ground... aka fog. It looks quite likely we will be feeling a significant warming trend by the time the next work week rolls around. With more of our snowpack destined to melt away, you can expect this foggy recipe to revisit the Stateline soon. -ADAM
