I just wanted to post a few pictures that viewers sent during yesterday's snow storm.
These couple of pics are from Tony who lives in Loves Park. I think the first picture was taken from his screen door or porch. I like how he incorporated the Christmas lights and Happy Holidays to remind us of the Holiday snow we got yesterday.
These next few pictures are from Dom Castaldo who lives in Mount Morris, IL. His home is over 100 years old with currently heavy snow drifts on the roof. Have fun shoveling that! The park bench that is in his yard...accumulated a foot of snow! He also took a picture of the Pinecrest Apartment complex located across the street from his house. And his 3 year old boxer Niki...likes to help clear the snow by eating freshly laid snowflakes from the driveway.

Actually the picture with the screen was actually from my bedroom window and the second one was from our living room. The sign was just a coincidence to be there, but now that gretchen put it that way, it makes sense. I hope we get more snow even with this warmup coming so we can have a white xmas.
We'll get a foot of snow 3 days before christmas and out hopes will be up, but then on christmas eve it will be 85 degrees with a typhoon.
