Over a quarter of the way through 2008, we are behind schedule. We have yet to feel 70° this year. Typically the first 70° day occurs by April 2nd. If that were to hold true, that would have been on Wednesday. While I don't see 70° heat in the short term, we are getting closer this weekend. Highs should make it firmly into the 60s both Saturday and Sunday!The earliest 70° day took place on February 25th just 8 years ago. The latest 70° day took place on May 6th back in 1961. I highly doubt we approach that last record as it appears our weather is turning decisively into a warmer and wetter pattern.
