... without the risk of getting storms. This go around is no exception.
Below is the severe weather outlook for Sunday.
We're hugging the eastern edge of the slight risk tomorrow. The way things are looking, the biggest threat of severe weather lies to our west and especially north where some of the upper-level support is better. I don't expect to see storms in our neck of the woods until very late tomorrow and especially overnight Sunday night.
The storms that fire in Iowa will push to the east and into northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin especially after dark, so Sunday night/Monday morning looks like it'll be the period with the most activity. That's not prime time for severe weather, although strong winds and heavy rain are threats that need to be watched. Those big thunderstorm complexes have a tendency to create those types of problems.
If you have plans well up into Wisconsin or out in Iowa, keep track of the weather, as it could get a little rambunctious. And, as always, we'll be keeping tabs on it too.
