Today is the first of four 13 WREX Golf Daysfor the summer season. It is being held at Ingersoll Golf Course on West State Street. If you decide to head to the links today, you can golf 18 holes for $13. If you would also like to split a cart with a buddy, you can do so for $13. Lastly, the lunch special for the day will only cost you 13 quarters. It includes a hot dog, a bag of chips, and a drink.
The best part about it all is that it appears the weather is going to be cooperating. Cloud cover is going to be on the increase this afternoon, but the skies should stay dry until around sunset. One tactic to employ if you are on the tee box this afternoon... keep your drives low. The winds will be whipping out of the south at 15-25 mph so you won't want to get your ball caught up in that mess.
