Today we are in between two storm systems, and that is creating for a pretty pleasant day. The same storm that brought us severe weather this past weekend has moved into the New England area and has prompted a tornado watch (image on right) as well as a severe thunderstorm watch for a large chunk of New Hampshire and Maine.
On the opposite side of the country snow is falling... in June! Numerous winter weather advisories and warnings are in effect for the higher elevations in the Rocky Mountains and the Cascade Mountains. Glacier National Park is forecasting as much as 6-12" of snow! Even many of the valley floors are expected to at least get a thin coating of snow. I had a friend in Missoula, Montana tell me that the precipitation this morning was slightly frozen, and the airmass is only going to get colder tonight. Pretty crazy for June 10th! -ADAM
