Even though we escaped the major snow (Osseo and Rhinelander, Wisconsin got over 12") we've still got quite the cool-down in progress.
High temperatures on Saturday will be limited because of the fresh snow cover across much of Wisconsin. How does Wisconsin snow cover affect us? Check out temperature highs tomorrow! Minneapolis-St. Paul should get up around 40°. But by the time that air continues over the now frozen tundra of Wisconsin, it will cool some 4-8°.
It's not often that Minneapolis is warmer than we are, given the northwesterly wind direction. We'll blame our cold Saturday on the Wisconsin snow! -ERIC
