NASA's Cassini mission has discovered what appears to be a massive hurricane near the south pole on the planet Saturn; a phenomenon never before seen on any other planet. This "storm" has a well developed eye and what appears to be towering cumulus clouds surrounding it. Scientists of NASA say that even though the storm appears to look like a hurricane, it is not necessarily behaving like one. Wind speeds of up to 350 MPH have been observed blowing around the south pole of Saturn, which would be the equivalent of a Category 15 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale!
