Snow for St. Louis?

We've now made it into the middle of November. This time of year can bring 60s to the Midwest and also plenty of snow! An area of low pressure will develop over Nebraska on Tuesday and rapidly deepen as it moves southeast. This will tug copious amounts of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico as it continues it's left-hand turn. The preferred stormtrack by the models shows a track from Wichita to Cape Girardeau, Mo, then up to Indianapolis by Thursday morning. Because the stormtrack will be more than 100 miles away from Rockford during the course of its trek, accumulating snow is looking less likely for our region. However, some decent snow may come down from Des Moines down to St. Louis for Wednesday PM. As the storm rotates up into Michigan for Thursday, we'll definitely have a wind-maker! Winds in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin could surpass 40mph. -ERIC

Well thanks! We decided to make weather a little more interactive. This way we'll be able to gauge what our viewers are thinking and report on more relevant things.

Not to mention, with only three minutes to give the weather on TV, we've now got a way to cover more weather.

Thanks for stopping by!
