Stuck in the Middle
Winds will whip in from the north on Wednesday and Thursday, with gusts near 30-35 MPH! Low pressure will continue to deepen as it moves into Oklahoma late tonight and then move into Ohio by Thursday. The bulk of the heaviest rain will remain down state and in the lower Mississippi River Valley, but we won't escape a few showers for the afternoon. As the low continues to pull off to the northeast and temperatures fall into the lower 30s by Wednesday night, a few snow flurries maybe even showers are possible. Lake effect snow is possible for northeastern Illinois and northwest Indiana by Thursday. Temperatures will remain in the low 40s, but with the winds it will feel more like the 30s!
