Dust off the Umbrella

The last time we recorded any significant precipitation was the snowstorm that blew through on April 11th. We have gone over 10 days with no measurable precipitation, but the dry streak should be ending by Tuesday night.

A strong area of low pressure will slide across the central Plains by the middle of this work week. The graphic to the left shows the coordinates of the rainmaker on Tuesday morning. The graphic to the right shows the coordinates of the rainmaker on Wednesday morning. The soggiest timeframe over the next seven days will be Tuesday night on into Wednesday morning. The severe weather threat should be to the south of us, leaving us with a good old fashioned "soaker" of a storm. -ADAM
