Northwest flight 4712 from Minneapolis was attempting to land at 12:45 Thursday morning when, an airline spokesman says, the planes front landing gear fell off. The spokesman would not comment on the cause of the incident at this time due to the investigation being handled by the NTSB. WPBM-TV has more on this story.
