Air Quality Awareness: Keeping Your Lungs and Heart Safe
We are all exposed to air contamination any time we breathe polluted air. But when you exercise, work in the yard, or do other strenuous activities that make you breathe faster and harder you take in more polluted air. Don't worry though, because you can protect yourself by changing the time or intensity of your activities by keeping track of the air quality using the Air Quality Index. The Air Quality Index is a color based coded scale that tells you who needs to take steps to reduce their exposure to ozone or particle pollution and when to do it.
You can find your local air quality forecast by clicking here.
