Much needed rain to come in tolerable doses

Rain chances continue in some form over the next few days. Here's a look at the total precipitation forecast through Saturday evening. Heavy thunderstorms will bring flooding rain from Midland and Abilene, Texas up to Tulsa, Oklahoma. A coastal storm will work into the space coast of Florida perhaps bringing some desperately needed rain to the fire-ravaged areas of Southeastern Georgia.

For us, rain will come in tolerable amounts. We'll be on the lighter side of this system with less than 1/2" expected all week. -ERIC
