Not much of a punch with tonight's storms

A quick look at the doppler radar from the Quad Cities shows a developing line of thunderstorms over southeastern Iowa. These storms will be moving across the Mississippi River by 8pm. However once we get into the late-evening, we will be losing the potency of the sun. While we can't rule out a shower or storm tonight (one is trying to get going over Lee County, IL now) they won't be nearly as ferocious as Friday. -ERIC
