Here's Where We Stand:

With so much rainfall recently, the question is are we still in a drought situation? Here is your rain recap for 2007:

Tuesday morning we received more than our typical August monthly total in approximately 6 hours! Obviously that created major flooding problems. Looking back over the summer months, this week's rainmaker pushed us in the green. We are now 3 inches above average since the beginning of June. Stretching all the way back to January 1st is a bit of a different story. We are now just about on par. We actually have a deficit, but it is a very minuscule one standing at three tents below average.

We do not need anymore rain in the short term. River levels are still pretty high, and the ground is still soaked. The good news is that our rain chances through Monday will be very low. -ADAM
