I remember waking my kids up in the middle of the night and taking them out in their PJs to watch this meteor shower.
In the cool of a midsummer's night, outside in their PJs no less, at a time of day when they're usually in bed fast asleep - great bonding experience with your kids, and gets them interested in science and nature too.
Do it! They grow up all too soon.
Good advice! I saw a few of them when I was on the front porch before bed last night.
i thought i saw one last night shortly after midnight, but didnt stay out too long.
