More torrential rain this week!

Let's hope this week is unlike last week when flooding rains pounded Rockford! However, this weather pattern looks eerily similar...with several rounds of active thunderstorms likely.

In fact, our weather models are giving us at least a chance of a major thunderstorm complex during each calendar day this week. The first round will likely form Monday afternoon in Minnesota and track southeast. It appears the storms will work into the Rockford metro before sun-up on Tuesday. Damaging winds and heavy rain will be possible. Round #2 will be Wednesday. Round #3: early Thursday morning. Timing after that will be nearly impossible...stay tuned! -ERIC
